I worked as a construction worker for over 40 years and it took its toll. Although many people think that construction workers are some of the most physically fit, they are unaware of the great hazards we face regularly. Asbestos sheets are included in our daily list of hazardous materials that we have to come in contact with; there is simply no running away from this fact. Unfortunately, regular exposure resulted in mesothelioma and it was the biggest shock of my life when my doctor told me about this news. Fortunately, the mesothelioma cancer was still in its early stages so the treatment was a possibility. The biggest help was this book as it helped me in understanding all the facts about mesothelioma prognosis and different treatments available in this regard. There was a great deal of information on alternative treatments of mesothelioma asbestos and I opted for a combination of modern treatments with an alternative therapy. There were some issues in the start but I followed the tips and tricks mentioned in the book and soon overcame those initial difficulties. Fortunately, it worked and I am just in the last stages of my treatment and soon will be able to call myself cancer free.
